@ certainly a possibility. The investment in equipment and tech isn’t free though. So I think you’re right that it will be cheaper, but I’m not sure how much.
Software licenses for AI estimating and CAD programs etc won’t be cheap. The biggest variable/risk to any company is employees, so even if it cost a little more, I’d go to AI just to avoid the volatility of an employee quitting or retiring or sexually harassing someone etc.
