@Dttrixt Logic doesn't have to be strictly coded. It could be a black-box learned pattern of decision making that leads to an optimal decision. It's how you come up with logical decisions, there is no hard and fast rules, its based on your experience.
Think of it this way; if there is a puzzle with a set number of paths; and you go through that puzzle time and time again; certain paths in a sequence lead to a longer time to solve a puzzle. I just described an optimization problem that applies to this one puzzle. I didn't dictate the rules for the AI to take, which path to follow; it determined that based on the problem. All I did is train it on what is considered a positive and a negative outcome and how to traverse paths.
AI is trained on our examples; in other words it finds patterns in the way we solved problems and stitches them together in some N-dimensional space that we can't see.
