I you and a lot of people people are downplay the potential damage AI generated image creation can have on artists. Its abilities in that regard are much stronger then anything previous. That said, I agree what's started can't be stopped so Artist must force their way into development and discussions on AI technology in a way that keeps its development from being solely controlled by greedy, unethical corps and individuals. I believe AI can work alongside traditional and digital art without conflict but not if artist just step aside, throw their hands up and let stuff ride out quietly.
