@gypsysoulcreationsshadowsp849 I’m well aware of low income health insurance realities, but that’s not the question I’m asking. For many working class Americans, middle and upper middle class, health benefits are tied to work so it should be at least a topic of conversation when discussing AI and its effects on jobs and work. And I agree, many employer health benefit programs became obsolete after the government opened the marketplace and legislated insurers couldn’t deny those with pre existing conditions, but many employers still found it beneficial to offer those benefits to their employees. And those employers aren’t eating the whole cost which is usually split with the employee.
