@megabyte2695@megabyte2695 You're right; however, if Man Carrying Things did one of the following, then his argument is being made in bad faith. 1) went online, found a bad image that was made by AI Art, and used that for the prop. 2) Went to an AI Art Bot and told it to make the woman look messed up. "Such as make a woman with a large arm and a weird neck." 3) Went to an AI Art Bot and put in a low detail prompt, "Make an image of a woman," generated the image over and over until he found one that was messed up enough to use for this. 4) Went to an AI ART Bot that generates more than one image and a prompt, and picked the worst of them for this video. In all these cases, he chose a poor image to make his point, even though he had access to better ones. From the tone of the video, I think he did one of those four. My guess is number 1, as I doubt he would take the effort to use an AI ART BOT to make that image. He most likely googled bad AI Art and picked the first image. I'm not going to say AI Art is perfect; it's far from it. However, it's good enough for the layman. While artists can see the flaws in AI art right away, the average person cannot unless it's terrible, as in the picture he uses in this video. The arm was very noticeable right away. I still can't tell what's wrong with her neck, looks fine to me, and that's the difference between an artist and a layman. He talks about the lighting, and yeah, AI has no idea how to focus the lighting. Maybe there is a prompt to have the AI focus light, but I doubt it. Do I think ART AI is great? No, I don't. Do I think I have access to the AI ART Bot more than I do to a real-life artist? Yeah, I do. I would love to commission an artist to create dozens of pictures each month, but I live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford it. The way he depicts the person who made the AI art in his video is something you find in like a tweet on X, and has become a stereotype no different from stone hippy hugging trees or the fat, angry liberal woman with blue hair. On the flip side, if he used his artistic skills to create that image in Photoshop or another digital program, he did so again in bad faith, creating the image badly to prove that AI Art is no good. I doubt he did this, and as I said before, I suspect he just googled for a bad AI image.
