Don't worry - this fear mongering has existed for as long as we have been around. It's always the same thing. Propagate fear, create illusions, profit off of curiosity to said fear. Invest the rest. Use multiple systems. ChatGPT and OpenAI lie a lot. A lot. No one among us or any system has knowledge of the hour. Before it will happen a series of events. Those events will 100% become true.
