If you are implying that AI aren't tools but sentient entities with agency that we should be treating like humans...i would agree with that.
You can't be ambivalent on this though : If you believe they are not tools, then they should be treated like sentient entities. If they are tools, then it means they can be used as such...so make a choice are they or are they not tools?
