According to regulations, these cadres had to live with each household for at least 15 days each year to better understand their needs and improve support efforts. Also, may I ask: where did you hear that Tibetans are subjected to forced labor? I’ve never heard of such a thing, and none of the Tibetans I know have either 😅. In fact, the most widely known case of forced labor in China is the “sent-down youth” movement during the Cultural Revolution, when educated urban youth were forced to work in rural areas. Even Xi Jinping was subjected to that as a young man. In other words, the people the Communist Party historically forced into labor were actually the so-called bourgeois class — not the impoverished or ethnic minorities, as often portrayed in Western narratives.
