AI actually does it multiple times. It's trained using millions (or even billions) of art images, mashed it together, repurpose the generated results as the training material, and mashing it again infinitely
So technically an AI image you create right now is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of already existing AI generated images that's trained using real image
