That's really weird take by someone who claims to follow AI for decades... There is no logical reason why AI could not work in self driving cars. Why you ask? Because we as humans work as a drivers... And AI is just simplified human brain. Is it on same level as humans? No. But its getting there, and if you were actually following AI you would have seen FSD v14 videos where it can perform full rides with zero interventions for thousands of miles already, and its only getting better.
So maybe, just maybe, never say never?
