@BradHutchings That's way too much common sense and logic for the internet. Somehow people are missing that if this were possible (perfectly recovering all the training data), it would be the most miraculous breakthrough in compression technology ever achieved. Forget chatbots, that would be a much greater accomplishment.
Have you noticed how we never actually see any of these studies? If I were a skeptical person, I might be inclined to believe that they don't actually exist. If I were a skeptical person, mind you.
