@tomhaverford1484 I think he is mostly challenging false beliefs and actually untrue statements to help his viewers make sense of what is going on in a hopefully more realistic light. I'm personally tired of both extreme ends on this topic and have found a happy medium on this channel. I also watch Vanessa Winghardh here and read Luiza Jarovsky's AI Newsletter to stay in the loop of global technological and legal developments about AI (she is publishing her writing on Substack).
Maybe I'm missing where Cal is encouraging people to put up a fight against AI? And maybe I'm also missing where it says that absolutely everyone has to inevitably adapt to and use AI to become more productive? (I think it can be helpful when it is used where it makes sense and not for every little step in every single person's life/work environment)
And whether people are influenced by any kind of content they come across or willingly look into depends on them. People can share their opinions and others can do what they want with that.
I find it interesting how you make sweeping statements about large groups of people ("your followers are going to hate you soon", "everyone is going to have to adapt", "Cal is influencing many") without any kind of sources, proof or reasoning. It makes me wonder why you say those things an I'd like to understand that more and expand my worldview.
