@ChocolateShaddixX You don't have to be kind to people, of course ! but also it's about choosing the right target. I don't think the devs behind AIs want to mock artists and steal their works. I don't think it's the goal of AIs either. That's why we should open a dialogue. And make mouvements and push for governments to look into it early. But honestly, it's capitalism. The companies want to make money with AIs. People want to make money with AI art. It's just all about money. That's why I prefer AIs with open source code like Stable Diffusion, because they're pretty transparent about how they work, they're flexible. And I don't feel like I'm putting money directly in Elon Musk's pocket like Dall.e.2. I've never used Midjourney and I didn't research who made it so I'm sorry if I don't have all the informations though !! I know what the problem with it is, my comment was about taking out anger on people being even a slightly interested. I saw several comments about it being all black and white, screaming about ai apologists and how we should just delete AIs. I don't think rejection is helping anything. But yeah I think we agree we don't have to respect people stealing artworks and reselling them.
