I have no earthly idea why this comment is getting hate.
Cameras take light rays, bounce them around, and focus them into a single point.
Darker colors absorb light.
This is literally a physics problems. Cameras will ALWAYS have a more difficult time observing darker skin. It's literally impossible to design a camera that detects black faces better than white.
You could MAYBE design an algorithm that accounts for negative space, but that would 1) be REALLY complicated to implement consistently across all skin and face types and 2) requires these dummies to accept reality and figure out the true issue instead of blaming racism.
It's not racism.
It's a really complicated physics problem.
