That may happen, but it's not exactly "realizing" that its answers were wrong. Rather in the continuous back and forth with it, you're essentially "re-rolling the dice" while it learns from your communication patterns which answer is most likely to please you.
Ironically, in the scenario you're describing, ChatGPT is merely acting as a facilitator to make you get your own answer… Is that a good thing, cognitively? I haven't decided for myself yet. What do you think?
