It's such an act of utmost arrogance too, for tech people (I am one of them) to decide that how LLMs and AI work in processing data is "fair" to artists (I am one of the them, too) (i.e., it's learning like how humans do! (supposedly)). Like, who are you, who have likely never made your own piece of art, to determine that your machine is competing fairly or using our work fairly when you don't even know what we did to get here?
