1. No, the „AI” cannot produce better art. What is does, is that it simply generate an averaged out pattern of pixels from scanned data. It does not do anything better.
2. Still repeating that lie I see. What you described never happened. Artists were never cheering over the replacement of factory workers. The ones who did, where the exact same tech bros who support generative AI, and the replacement of artists. Deal with it.
