Disabled artist here. I can't draw and am greatful for assistive technologies like AI that allow me to express myself. There are also countless peer reviewed studies on this that show there are a lot of disabled people who feel this way.
The most important thing is disability isn't a monolith. The only people I see pretending it is are anti-ai as a defence for their ableism when they tell people without arms to pick up a pencil.
Not every disabled person has the same capabilities or willpower to push through the struggle to use traditional tools designed for the abled, and they shouldn't have to struggle just because some other person with a disability did.
I don't think because I'm pro-AI that every other disabled person is with me, but I know the same respect won't be returned when people claim all disabled people dislike AI.
