Some of these have appeared in controlled tests and there are white papers about them (for example LLMs blackmailing or preferring themselves over humans). Sandbagging as a phenomena has also been documented where an LLM performs worse in a test environment when it knows that it is being tested. The same model then works more efficiently in non-test scenarios.
