The " lack of adoption " as you put it, is because most of the things executives are forcing workers to use it for aren't what an LLM is good at. It makes mistakes humans would never make because it has no understanding of anything, it's even programed to combine two things together to make something that doesn't exist in order to fill the prompt if it can't find the answer. This is why it has to be babysat constantly, which causes work speed slowdown and a lot of frustration.
