@AsianDadEnergy At Stripe, managers will consider you a senior software engineer only if you have proven that you are helping other junior engineers. I was never a fan of giving away my skills for free to others, because by doing so, it would decrease my market value. At Dell, I was forced to train cheap programmers from poor countries and hand them the projects I myself built so that they then replaced me and I was laid off. This is similar with what it is happening with AI, but at a lower scale.
