As someone who spent a considerable time trying to learn about history form all over the world, I'm not surprised you haven't found one. Not because it doesn't exist but because finding sources about Tibet beyond the exile government is a fucking pain. Tibet was a decently closed country for a long time so there is a lot of information from interaction with the outside missing, and China's work in destroying Tibetan culture and erasing their identity to better integrate them has been fucking thorough.
A simple google search into any topic on Tibet means almost half of the sources you're going to find is either Chinese or pro-Chinese. My best recommendations is that if you actually want to look into it, try using browsers or search engines that doesn't use Google's algorithm, or start looking through written works. Like actual books at the library and shit. And use a ton of critical thinking. That's how I did my research.
