nah, you can use ai as long as you actually bother to read and understand the code it wrote. and a good trick is to always ask it to do a (security) code review on the code that it wrote. that will almost always improve the results
the people who blindly insert ai code without understanding it is no different from the copy-paste engineers of the past. it just makes “copy-pasting from stackoverflow” faster and easier
