Well I do sound like a fool in this comment. What are LLMs if not prediction software ?
I was thinking more generally but I suppose I just might be showing my ignorance w.r.t to LLMs and rural network research more generally.
But hold on ! Have these models been trained on football games to be used to predict the next play.
Such an obvious use. Or will no one admit it ? Of course this is a competitive situation and so they opponent wishes to use your intelligent prediction capabilities... somewhat limited... against you.
This too is another clear place where LLM models versus ??? other types of prediction software can compete. Who predicts the next play best ? So simple to evaluate ! ... most things in life are not so easily evaluated.
