personally, i still think the artist is missing out. if the rendering was done himself there would be more of his style in the drawing. everyone's art styles are different, but you cant see his style on the right because its ai and its generic. this wouldn't have been the case if the rendering was done manually. same thing applies with the background. it also looks like the program he used changed the eyes and eyebrows which made more of the image generic and separated him more from his art. what makes art human in my opinion is the creators reflection in the art and thats best demonstrated through their style and so much of that could have happened but he left it up to AI to fill in the rest of the drawing. the final product might have been what he had in mind but its generic compared to what the final product would have been if he did everything himself. basically what im saying is that his rendering, shading, colors, and backgrounds dont have to be truly and utterly unique to make him not use AI, they just have to be a little bit. all the tiny creative decisions in animation, or even a single image, add up and better reflect you in that art. im just saying that the best way to make your art unique is to maximize your control over your art. i dont draw very often so what do i know. atleast he drew the major parts instead of just typing a prompt. this is definitely one of the better uses of AI without a doubt
