Think of it this way.
If you want to do art for fun, it doesn't affect you.
If you want to go independent and make a living off art, it would be hard, but AI won't change much about the prospect. Patrons nowadays respect genuine passion like that.
If you want to do art work for businesses or freelance, AI will affect you, but if it didn't, odd are you'd still be screwed anyways.
