@JohnnySjajsjd it shouldn’t use WATER lol. I know that it does, but it doesn’t matter how much or how little water it uses. It requires gigantic facilities that consume land, drinking water, and requires components that rely on excavation & elimination of several non-renewable minerals. ..All just to have our data harvested by chat bots that literally lie to support the governments claims (ask it if it’s possible for a steel-structured skyscraper to fall at free-fall acceleration due solely to isolated office fires then ask it how World Trade Center Bldg 7 was destroyed). ChatGPT answered my question by unknowingly regurgitating info my own Reddit post to me before as it’s only source (turns out I rly was the only one on the internet talking about my topic of interest at that time). The executives of the AI companies are complete dumbasses for thinking this would be worth it to the public or is a good investment for themselves, their shareholders, the secondary tech companies contributing to it, the cities where data centers are, or basically anyone at all besides the proverbial ‘surveillance state.’ It’s literally a capability the internet already has without any of these investments. I can’t wait until someone puts forth a non-consumptive alternative (all it does it quickly scan the internet, apply logic from the prompt to the sources, and spit out a response. It’s actually not much more advanced than online games that have the ability to react immediately to our moves; and most chat bots don’t consume real-world resources). Although I won’t use it bc I honestly think its responses are useless, manipulative, and riddled with errors. Yet, i hope they release it soon and becomes a mega billionaire off of it, like immediately, without needing a single data center. Although, a smart company also would wait until it’s refined before releasing it to the public, so people aren’t all talking to a disinfo bot for the free trial phase, and only wind up sold on never using it again after it demonstrates, then admits to complete allegiance to the government and willingness to state things it knows are false to support the narratives..
