@SweatierAcorn You can say "but AI is lazy, and it's hard to be a good photographer". Photography can be lazy too. You can create 100 photos in 10 minutes if you want, but that wouldn't be art without idea, intention, and creative direction. The same with Ai. Internet is full of AI slop, because it is easy to do. Not a lot of people know how to use the technology properly. Not a lot of people are inspired to portray some complex ideas . Most of them just want to make a beautiful image (or that weird stuff on Facebook).. I would not consider that kind of AI pictures as art.
