LLMs have been in the spot light for like what, 2 years? That's hardly enough time to draw conclusions as to the course of long run economics. if we zoom in to that timescale, not so long ago the same hypemen were saying that unregulated wildcat banks and monkey jpegs were going to replace the financial system.
I haven't heard of any reputable publicly traded company committing to a switch to AI workforces, the only labour things happening right now is the usual cyclic downsizing to capitalize on stock market trends in the tech sector.
As for humanoid robot workers, what? Where? Boston dynamic robots actually work, but they're not at all autonomous. As for tesla bots, they're still people in mime suits.
Point is, no LLM will ever replace workers on any apreciable scale because LLMs can never escape their fundemental flaw as word calculators, wherein they only pick the most popular solution, not the logical solution. The value in human workers is in that they can react to unexpected situations, LLMs will be confidently wrong, and the liability that generates (as was seen in that Air Canada chatbot's case) will far exceed any savings
