Are you kidding? Max Tegmark did the worst, by far. Ludicrous and dishonest analogies and quickly moving around goalposts all while talking over people honestly made me feel embarrassed that he was the best person we could produce to be on that stage for that side of the debate. His arguments were shallow, compared to Melanie who clearly understands a lot more deeply about AI despite having to deal with his antics. I think it's easy to get sucked into the vortex that is the doomerism side, but it's important to think critically and try to keep a level head about this.
