You didn't understand her argument. There is a clear difference between AI and AGI. All the big AI companies are dumping insane $$$ into AGI -- a technology which has no real purpose other than to prove to everyone that humans are replicable and replaceable. The guest's argument is that specialized AI is the technology we actually need, not AGI, and she is correct.
