@Alexander_Kale We're not talking about automation. We're talking about the creation of a digital species that could dominate and destroy humanity. About half of all researchers in the field say that's >=10% likely.
I'm a longtime volunteer with PauseAI, a global grassroots movement with the same goal as ControlAI. I don't expect to succeed by default, but we can either do everything we can and prepare for some good luck, or we can let our loved ones die.
