@Danuxsy Its not even remotely the first thing its done... Machine Learning and non-Generative, AI algos are responsible for/are used to improve (in no particular order): Self driving cars, auto-moderators, recommendation algos, automated cancer diagnosis, local logistics algos (warehouse inventory machines), global logistics networking algos, Deep Fakes, ADR, OCR, Creating algos that choose training data sets for LLMs, etc. Remixing training data is not the first application of this technology by a long shot, Gen AI and LLMs in general are only good at mimicking human output and are literally an ouroboros as now without careful data curation they are consuming AI generated data and poisoning their own training data. I used to work at Watson Health Imaging and have been a software developer for a long time, and in my professional opinion we are making a GIGO machine that is going to cause a programming crisis in the next few years as new developers that don't know better are being discouraged to enter into the field due to these machines that have a VERY narrow utility. These machines aren't making art, they have just converted images that people make into mathematical representations that they are then able to rehash, they will never create something that a human isn't also able to create, and humans will always be able to create things these machines are incapable of creating
