Inspiration vs stealing, what is the difference?
This is a very simple question, only small minded people wouldn’t understand the difference. Inspiration is when someone sees something they find interesting, and they use it as their muse to create their own thing. They don’t mush it together with the thing they made, but instead they create their original piece based on something they’ve seen.
Stealing however, is when someone sees something they find interesting, but instead of making something original out of it they take it as their own, slap a few different things on it, trace it, and say it’s their creation.
Ai art cannot have inspiration. It’s a soulless machine that’s incapable of feeling. Ai art can only steal by getting a piece of art fed into it, slapping different things onto it, mushing it together with 5 other pieces of art so it looks different enough, and then saying it’s original.
Ai cannot put effort into things, no matter how fast it is. And the fact you ignore all the jobs lost by it is laughable.
