Ai generating a story vs an image are pretty different. Images are generated by pulling from a wide data base that gets fed information from the internet, that information though can be a drawing a truly creative person made, at which point, if the AI decides to pull from that drawing, it should be considered considered plagiarism, and it's effortless (in a bad way). Writing a story is much easier to use AI as a tool instead of making it do the work for you, just write down what you have in your mind, then feed that to the AI and tell it to improve it, instead of making it create a story for you that would steal from creative artists
