@NikoKun the problem is the transition. Let's be real honest here, most governments are broke. They can't just start handing out cash and not go bankrupt within 6 months. Then there is the issue of people's existing debts. Is UBI going to cover that? Yea, probably not. At best it is only going to put everyone in the living condition of government provided housing and just enough food to be hungry most of the time. Then with Digital IDs they will dictate what food you're allowed to buy and when. Then there's the Social Credit score that they will try to implement with CBDCs and Digital IDs. You say something they think you are not allowed to say online - you will get less UBI. You'll create absolute dystopia within a year. Back to the debts people will still have on the books... companies that the debt is owed are not going to just say "oh, nobody can work because AI is doing it, i guess we can never collect that debt". So then you what? You have to give every single one of these companies (credit card companies and banks) the most epic bailout in human history? Yea, sorry, not enough money for that. If that doesn't cause enough chaos in society you will have the problem of absolute revolt. For most people, their job is what really kinda defines their life. Take that away and well you have problems BIG problems. China spends a LOT of it's resources on keeping people employed for a very good reason. They know that if people have something to do and some money in their pocket they're much less likely to revolt. Take that away from an entire country like say... the UK or the U.S. and you're just asking for an absolute revolution. My guess is that first people will revolt by cutting power to anything powered by AI. Then they're going for the government buildings. Did you just see how fast it took Nepal to get it's revolt? Yea,... 2 days. The people revolted and they burned down the parliament building. The only other solution is absolute and very rapid depopulation. Which of course the WEF does want to do for sure.
