I don't have as many years as you, but same! AI has made me a lot faster, but it also requires a lot of guiding and planning so the output is not complete spaghetti. It find that it loves to write the same versions of things since the context is so small (relative to a medium-ish codebase). It does not reuse unless you specifically call it out. I am still trying to let it vibe and have my OCD chill out a bit 😅
