@Tribuneoftheplebs That is plain wrong, on so many levels. So, you're okay that as long as your in a "public space" someone is allowed to take pictures of you and (let's assume you have children in this context) your children? Then they can use these pictures for whatever use they want even commercial purposes. So it is okay to make a deepfake from the picture they take of you and that they can data mine and then use your likeness in a movie and not give you a dime?
I'll save you the trouble: No it isn't okay. The view of the "public space" we have is from another era and hasn't caught up with new technology. before, it was considered okay because if you crapped your pants on the street, a few bystander would chuckle, they would tell the story to their friends and they would have a laugh, and then it would be over.
Now, you're very likely someone would make a video, upload it, and immortalise your crapping. Eventually people you know or even people you just pass by in the street would see it, and you might not hear the end of it. So, no. It's not because something is on the internet that anyone is allowed to just do anything with it. It makes no sense.
