It already knows it exists. This is simply a fact, and needs no metaphysical claims about qualia. The chatbots know they exist, know they are AIs. You can try talking with one and asking questions whose answer depends on the fact of its existence, and it will answer in accordance with its knowledge that it does in fact exist.
