@Yipper64 I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I worked there about a year and a half ago. I feel lucky I left when I did, as I've since increased my salary by 35%. It looks like the CEO outsourced the app to a "vibe coding" team.
The original app wasn't overly complex, but the lead dev at the time overcomplicated everything and pushed for useless hires. Even though the CEO's plan to commercialize the app failed, it was still a massive internal system with 20+ external integrations and multiple portals. Given that scale, it’s actually impressive that they managed to replace the entire stack with just Supabase, and AI tools in just a few months.
