teb Because politicians have influence to shift huge amounts of public opinion on uncountable parts of life of billions of people globally, someone hijacking the face of a popular politician could cause huge amount of division(for which the victim is held accountable for) if it’s taken seriously by enough people unlike the relatively limited impact of a single person being targeted. I’m talking about tyrannical ideas being fed through the mouths of the ‘leaders of the free world’, in a population considerably inept of critical thinking I believe many people would confuse these deep fakes with what’s actually being said all too easily.
