Have you look into this art competitions? they were pretty middle to low level, but in any case that's irrelevant, the truth is that there's a reason all art is considered derivative, in a way and why this systems exist in the first place, it's because we are done buddy it's over, we've done it all in the field of representational art, there's no style or technique that is unachievable to some high level artist out there, we are all just mixing and mashing concepts and that's fine. at best AI art will be at the level of top artists which on a tecnincal level i think it already can be but it would never be better than its data set or model it's using so there's no "better"whatever you think that means. what it needs right now is a set of tools to have more control over it which there are starting to appear like control net and Roop. but if you think Ai art is better because it's faster? you might want to consider slowing down cause I think that's actually terrible, the level of saturation of meaningless hot girl crap showing up is already starting to get people tired of this type of AI art not to mention you will all just bury each onther in the process, making it harder and harder for people to find your "art". Ironically only creative people with interesting concepts and the power to iterate and do corrections accurately with an understading of good design,, composition and storytelling skills, meaning actual artists will be the ones that will produce the best work as always.
