@skytron22I agree, I think we humans are also just predicting the next steps based on the information that is fed into our brain. It might be a little bit more complex than LLM since we have more senses to get information from the outside world but this information is then processed to either take action or not. In the context of understanding something, so many people say AI is not really understanding what it is predicting, the questing is, do we always understand all the inherent logics of everything we use? For example I can use mathematicals formulas I do not fully understand but I understand enough to put the correct values in to get the right result.
