@freeezierexpthis is not about kids having fun. They don't have to deal with images professionally. Moreover, AI won't ever take away their fun, as paper and crayons will always exist. The whole reason this AI situation is the way it is is fundamentally because artists are not getting paid to train the models. Everything else is just moral posturing to "justify" their monetary needs, which is frankly childish. It is a valid concern, why do they need to hide behind "think of the children"? The reason they disparage those who use AI is because they are a threat to their income, but they tend to target the final users rather than the companies themselves, further alienating them away from their profession. Its just dumb
