Saying "AI" is without naming a company such as Leonardo AI, MidJourney, Midnight Release, Fire Fly, Stable Diffusion, or even Dall-E or Sora shows that you are lumping everything into one. Reality is that it has been around in Photoshop for 7 years MINIMUM and has been in Maya and other industry 3D/CGI tools since I graduated college in the field in 2013. ChatGPT uses Dall-E and is one of the low end generators for consistency. Stable Diffusion allows full control and can maintain consistency and full control over small changes. What you described for someone who uses AI is like someone who was given a polaroid camera and told to go take pictures for the first time. You wrongly stated "every single model is built on plagiarism" is false. The training data is up to THE BUSINESS WHO IS IMPLEMENTING IT. AI is the tool, corporate greed is what you hate. I gave an example on how I sourced mine with no problem. A lot of artists are more than happy to donate art they are selling or using, just ask around and be sincere. Hell, even in your last reply you said you can see how it could be useful. Meaning you do see it as a tool....you just attach the stigma of shitty companies doing shitty things as how it is running. Kind of like hating all computers because some people use it to scam old ladies. I grew up in the boom of Photoshop, I was literally told every day how I was not a photographer or not a real artist because I used photoshop to alter the snapshot or sketch. Now every single person that said that shit is using it too as standard in the industry. Hate where hate is due, don't blanket statement all tools into one group to make the hate easier.
