I assume you are ignoring how this "future", will involve:
Fascist groups being able to mass produce 100% realistic propaganda of the groups they are targeting
Governments being able to make propaganda news which is indistinguishable from reality
Most people going homeless due to AI taking their jobs
Mass pollution due to AI centers
Human artists being pushed out of art spaces
Scammers being able to perfectly mimic the voices of people in order to steal money from elderly people
Large scale identity theft
People being framed for crimes via deepfakes
AI deepfaking being used to cause suicides (which is already a thing, as one teenager committed suicide after someone used AI to generate CP of him)
Deaths resulting from AI misinformation (such as chatgpt giving someone a diet plan which gave them bromide poisoning)
And of course AI killing us all
And that isn't getting into how a lot of the people calling for AI regulation are AI researchers.
