Unfortunately the AI version is "worse" only to your trained eye. For the vast majority of the population it is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Also, this is the worst it is ever going to be... the pace of improvement in generative AI is something mankind has never really experienced. Not just for you creatives, none of us in any field are safe from its effects.
