I don't care the benefits of amazing AI that we can't even imagine right now can offer a better future for hundreds of years from now. Right now ANI is all we have leading to AGI and ASI which is amoral you can train it to solve a complex surgical problems, advanced home security or tutor kids living 100 years in the future on advanced topics we have no answers for today like P versus NP or train it for the destruction of the planet. The research is massively expensive to even reach AGI one day. Weapons and sex seem to be driving the market to lower prices on advanced tech which if we play our cards right and train our minds and AI to preserve life instead of destruction. Everything should be fine with out this tech Elon isn't getting anyone to Mars which is one of his main goals. Someone is going to do it likely the richest guy in japan he said he has goals for this type of tech. and he has the money to back it up. America should lead the way to. Lots of things can kill us but this one can help us to.
