I'm eyerolling so hard right now. It's nothing to do with that. It's just trying to compensate for real, observable racial biases AI already provides. Obviously the results of what they did here are unacceptable, but 99% of the people freaking out in the comments about the AI not producing images of white people did not give a flying f*ck when the same issue was going in the other direction.
