@laurentiuvladutmanea OpenAI has nothing to do with corporations. Ever heard of open-source? We gain nothing financially from making our hundreds or thousands of hours of work free, yet we do it anyway, cus that's a reality the inernet gives. I think almost everything should be free, but ppl dont know financially how to deal with that. They have this odd notion that without money, people wont do things? It requires an overhaul in our current economic system, and boom, we're in more of a utopia.
Also, your 1st argument is flawed, cus who's we? AI and ML models are here to stay, regardless of what some people might want. Technology can't be stopped, just as the invention of calculus couldn't be, nor the gutenberg press. It's advancement, but money always gets in the way.
